ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Roberto Reale graduated in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires and has also taught at this institution.
In his role as Director of CIUDAD POLITICA, Web Portal dedicated to the diffusion and development of Political Science, he achieved to reach the 5000 registered member-mark and the site is formally recognised by IPSA (Internacional Political Science Asociation, vía IPSAONLINE), and the following Universities: University of Salamanca in Spain, University Diego Portales in Chile, University of Valencia and the University of the Basque Country amongst others. The website was also mentioned in the supplement of the Argentine National Newspaper Clarin, as a training resource in Politics and highlighted by the IT supplement of the same newspaper as a reference in terms of Digital Governance.
The Director has also followed Post-graduate studies at the Ministry of the Interior's INCAP achieving the best average and studied towards a Master’s degree in Methods of Research for Social Science at the University of Bologna.
He is also a Consulting member of the 'Fundacion Desarrollar' supported by the World Bank's Development Gateway and the NGO Conciencia.
Has published a number of articles on Political Reform, several of which were compiled in the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s document: "Encounter for a Consensus" that is set to serve as one of the foundations of the Argentine discussion table.
He currently works as advisor to the Vice-President of the Nation in his function of President of the Senate, Daniel SCIOLI, and Coordinator of the Institutional Strengthening Plan.
His task in parliamentary modernization has involved building a relationship and gaining the support of the Inter-american Development Bank (IADB), the Ministers Cabinet Headquarters, the Department of Economy and Production as well as from various highly-respected civil organizations such as Association Conciencia, CIPPEC and Poder Ciudadano.
